Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced AGM (Electrical & Utility) to join our leadership team. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee & supervise operations of heavy industrial plants including gas/diesel generators , boilers, air compressors, chillers, HVAC(Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), Water Treatment Plants (WTP) etc.

• Lead and manage the Electrical team aiming to manage high/low tension (HT/LT) switchgears, substations, transformers, and electrical panels, ensuring seamless preventative and predictive maintenance.Plan & schedule for monthly maintenance.

• Handle ongoing operation of Power & Energy Division.

• Co-operate to relevant department for the better productivity of the power.

  Oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of gas generator units to ensure reliable and uninterrupted power supply.

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans and strategies to minimize downtime and enhance the reliability of gas generator systems.

• Lead a team of skilled technicians and engineers in executing maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and overhauls of gas generators.

• Coordinate with procurement and inventory management teams to ensure the availability of spare parts and consumables necessary for gas generator maintenance.

• Monitor key performance indicators of gas generator systems, analyze data, and implement measures to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.

• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations in all gas generator-related activities.

• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance shutdowns, commissioning of new equipment, and integration of gas generator systems with the utility network.

• Prepare reports, budgets, and forecasts related to gas generator operations and maintenance activities.

• Responsible for the overall maintenance of the factory for any electrical issues including sub-stations as well as other machinery.

• To troubleshoot the problematic areas and create a clear plan of action for fixing necessary parts.

• Ensure the availability of spare parts of machine breakdown & preventive maintenance issues.

• Identify & implement various measures to improve the efficiency of the machineries.

• Ensure zero downtime through preventive maintenance and relevant reporting.

• Prepare SOP for maintenance of plant & machinery and utility installation of the factory.

• Monitor & supervise all the electrical & electronics issues such as air compressor, diesel & gas generator, water pump, steam boiler, washing machine, dyeing, Printing etc.

• Ensure proper monitoring & follow-up routine for scheduled maintenance. Including breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting maintenance, etc.

• To minimize NPT (Non-Productive Time) at a minimum level.

• To enhance optimum efficiency of all electrical & power equipment.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols.

• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to meet organizational objectives.

• Prepare reports on department performance metrics for executive review.

• Develop and implement strategic plans aligning with company objectives.

• Oversee the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems of all capital machineries.

• Ensure all electrical equipment are operational and maintained as per the standards.

• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems, equipment and components in different work place to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair.

• Ensure that a full preventative maintenance plan is established and adhered to through scheduled day to day maintenance activities.

• Sound knowledge regarding assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronics wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures.

• Establishing delivery and installation schedules for machines, switchgear, cables and fittings.

• Capable for fault findings and installation of electrical equipment.

• Make a schedule of preventive maintenance to keep minimum down time due to electrical breakdown.

• Ensure preventive maintenance of boilers & generators & all compressors’ for undistributed supply and also take proper plan about inverter, motor, electrical panel board and plc. Etc.

• All control panels are properly maintained to reduce the breakdown

• Maintain good communication with the Engineering services (mechanical) for optimizing the maintenance process.

• Ensure proper PPE in all electrical work areas.

• Segregation of responsibilities among team member preventive maintenance/repairing schedule covering all services areas.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive installation/ maintenance timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

• Conduct risk assessments and feasibility studies for new projects.

• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for electrical materials and services.
