Responsibilities & Context:
Setting Out & Surveying: Translate blueprint specifications to the physical site using surveying equipment like total stations and GPS.
Quality Assurance (QA) & Control (QC): Conduct daily inspections to ensure workmanship and materials meet industry specifications and building codes.
Site Supervision: Manage day-to-day construction activities and coordinate with architects, project managers, and subcontractors to maintain project schedules.
Safety Compliance: Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring workers wear proper PPE and mitigating site hazards.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate site logs, progress reports, and record as-built drawing
