Responsibilities & Context:
Lead and manage all day-to-day dredging site operations to ensure safe, efficient, and timely project execution.
Search and manage dykes by communicating and coordinating with local people of dredging sites, Fix issues with dyke owners, Employer, Govt. agencies etc.
Plan, monitor, and control dredging production to achieve contractual targets.
Supervise dredging activities, dyke construction, disposal areas, reclamation works, and pipeline alignment.
Monitor dredging quantities through hydrographic survey data, production reports, and quantity calculations.
Coordinate with survey, operation, maintenance, HSE, and logistics teams for smooth site execution.
Ensure proper preventive and corrective maintenance of dredgers, booster pumps, generators, and auxiliary equipment.
Optimize fuel consumption, equipment utilization, and overall operational efficiency.
Monitor cutter performance, pump efficiency, slurry concentration, and production rates.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management and clients.
Maintain project documentation, site records, equipment logs, and production reports.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, and quality standards.
Manage manpower, subcontractors, and local resources effectively.
Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Ensure all activities comply with HSE policies and environmental regulations.
Coordinate inspections and meetings with clients, consultants, BIWTA, Navy, BWDB, and other stakeholders.
Report daily and periodically to management about all related operation.
Any other duty assigned by management.
