Responsibilities & Context:

What You'll Be Doing:

- Lead residential interior & exterior architectural projects from concept to completion

- Prepare and oversee conceptual design, layout planning, and elevation drawings

- Prepare and review working drawings, including electrical, plumbing, and furniture layout drawings

- Design and develop exterior elevations, facades, and layout planning for residential projects

- Ensure all designs comply with RAJUK rules & regulations and Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC)

- Translate client requirements into concept designs, working drawings, and 3D visualisations

- Brief and coordinate with clients, building developers, and site engineers on layout, tiles pattern, and other execution-level details

- Take the lead in client presentations, negotiations, and high-value client relationships

- Guide and mentor junior/mid-level architects on design quality and execution standards

- Review and approve BOQ, estimation, and project documentation

- Conduct site visits as required for client communication and execution monitoring

Experience:

- Minimum 6-10 years of relevant experience in residential interior & exterior design

- Strong working knowledge of RAJUK rules, approval processes, and BNBC compliance

- Proven experience leading projects and managing a design team

- Prior work in an interior design or architectural consultancy firm is required

Skills We're Looking For:

- Strong command of AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, V-Ray/Lumion or similar tools

- In-depth knowledge of RAJUK regulations and building code compliance

- Capable of handling both interior and exterior design & layout planning for residential projects

- Good knowledge of materials, finishes, and tiles pattern & layout planning

- Confident, senior-level communicator with strong client-facing presence

- Ability to mentor and manage a team of architects/designers

- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
