Experience:
B.Sc. in Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE), Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent from a reputed university.
Excellent knowledge of SMV, SAM, Time Study, Motion Study, Capacity Planning, Line Balancing, Method Study and Work Measurement techniques.
Strong understanding of factory costing, productivity improvement and manufacturing excellence.
Ability to work under pressure and achieve production and shipment targets.
Candidate should have experience on Garments & Textiles (Knit composite unit).
Should have at least 15 -18 years' experience in accounts function.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and manage the overall Industrial Engineering Department to achieve maximum productivity and operational excellence.
Develop and implement IE strategies to improve productivity, efficiency and manufacturing performance.
Ensure accurate SMV validation, Operation Bulletin (OB) preparation and capacity planning before production.
Approve production layouts for Cutting, Sewing, Finishing and Packing departments.
Establish line-wise manpower planning based on production targets and machine capacity.
Lead line balancing initiatives to eliminate bottlenecks and optimize production flow.
Monitor hourly, daily and monthly production efficiency and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines and factory resources.
Reduce style changeover time, machine idle time and production losses.
Monitor and improve operator performance through method improvement and operator development programs.
Lead capacity study, work study and motion study to enhance operational efficiency.
Analyze production losses, bottlenecks and low-efficiency areas and implement sustainable corrective actions.
Monitor line lost hours and identify root causes with preventive action plans.
Develop productivity dashboards and submit daily, weekly and monthly management reports.
Coordinate with Merchandising, Planning, Production, Technical, Quality, Maintenance and HR departments for smooth production execution.
Participate in pre-production meetings and provide technical recommendations for new styles.
Lead pilot runs and ensure successful bulk production implementation.
Develop and standardize best manufacturing methods for Activewear, Knit Sewing production. (Lingerie experience will be preferable)
Ensure proper operation sequence and machine allocation for complex garment styles.
Optimize thread consumption, manpower utilization and production costs.
Lead factory-wide cost reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives.
Conduct operator skill assessments and develop competency improvement programs.
Review and update Skill Matrix and multi-skilling development plans.
Ensure accurate production planning based on factory capacity and shipment priorities.
Lead Industrial Engineering support for new projects, production expansion and automation initiatives.
Monitor KPIs including Productivity, Efficiency, DHU, WIP, Line Lost Hours, Changeover Time and Labor Cost.
Prepare annual departmental budgets and monitor cost performance.
Mentor, coach and develop the IE team to build future leaders.
Perform any other responsibilities assigned by Management.
