Responsibilities & Context:

Context:

TANVIR CONSTRUCTIONS LIMITED is considered one of the promising construction companies in Bangladesh. The activities of TANVIR CONSTRUCTIONS LIMITED include but are not limited to (i) Civil constructions such as Runway Construction, Road Construction (Flexible Pavement, Rigid Pavement), Bridges, Multi-Storied Buildings, Culverts, RCC drainage structures, etc. (ii) Computerized toll operation and maintenance of Bridges and Roads.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare quantity take-off from construction drawings and specifications.

  • Prepare and verify BOQ (Bill of Quantities) for tender and execution works.

  • Prepare cost estimates, material quantity estimates, and labor requirements.

  • Prepare client bills, verify subcontractor bills, and prepare payment certificates.

  • Verify work progress and measure quantities before billing.

  • Monitor project costs and prepare cost analysis reports.

  • Prepare and manage variation orders (VO), additional work claims, and final accounts.

  • Coordinate with the Project Manager, Planning Engineer, Site Engineers, Procurement, and Accounts departments.

  • Prepare material reconciliation statements and monitor material consumption.

  • Maintain proper records of measurements, bills, contracts, and project documents.

  • Enter and update project-related data, BOQ, purchase requests, material receipts, work progress, bills, and payment information in the ERP system accurately and on time.

  • Generate ERP-based reports for project cost, billing, procurement, and inventory as required.

  • Support procurement activities by reviewing quotations and verifying quantities.

  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, contract requirements, and project quality standards.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by management related to quantity surveying and cost control.
