Responsibilities & Context:
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Sourcing Engineer to join our Procurement team. The ideal candidate should have a strong educational background in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) and hands-on experience in sourcing electrical and electronic components. Candidates must possess a strong understanding of electronic circuits and component specifications to ensure efficient supplier selection and procurement.
Source electrical and electronic components, equipment, and materials from local and international suppliers.Evaluate technical specifications, product quality, and supplier capabilities.
Analyze circuit diagrams, electrical drawings, and component specifications to ensure technical compatibility.
Coordinate with engineering, production, and procurement teams to meet sourcing requirements.
Negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial terms with suppliers.
Identify alternative sources and equivalent components to optimize cost and availability.
Maintain supplier database and monitor supplier performance.
Ensure timely procurement while maintaining quality standards and budget compliance.
