• Proven experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar role within the knit garments industry.

• Strong understanding of garment manufacturing processes, quality standards, and export procedures.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.

• Lead and manage the merchandising team to achieve production and sales targets effectively.

• Oversee the entire merchandising process from order placement to shipment, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.

• Coordinate with all suppliers (T1, T2, T3) production team, and other departments to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.

• Collect Order from buyers based on factory capacity & new customer onboarding.

• Prepare daily & monthly statements of inflow & outflow for the top management.

• Keep in close touch with local and foreign buyers and make relations with them to meet their desired requirement.

• Make a Production plan and follow up for the respective order (Textile & Garments).

• Check & Confirmed the costing sheet fabric, booking sheet & final sheets.

• Monitor textile & Garments about fabric quality & production to support good quality garment production.

• Maintain various documents (buyer wise/style wise order wise).

• Very strong knowledge on costing, price negotiation, sourcing of fabrics, accessories & any other material local & import.

• Prepare and update production schedules, monitor progress, and resolve any production issues.

• Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, quality standards, and ethical practices.

• Maintain communication with buyers regarding orders, samples, and approvals.

• Prepare cost sheets, negotiate prices, and monitor costing to ensure profitability.

• The candidate must have strong knowledge about Yarn Dyeing, Dyeing, Washing, Knitting, Printing, Embroidery and Knit Fabric.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their requirements are met efficiently.

• Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and strategies.

• Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that arise.
