Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: In line with the BRAC Youth Platform, BRAC strategy and goals, the person will lead the development of appropriate teaching-learning materials to ensure quality of education of 21st century soft skills in both Creative Clubs and Amra Notun Network.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Enhance the education quality system of BRAC Youth Platform (BYP) through innovating and improving teaching learning materials for facilitators, moderators and students and the assessment system aligned with programme, national and global demands and standards.
∎ Evaluate the effectiveness of the developed materials, assessment and teaching methods by analysing test data, research findings, impact studies, school visits and feedback from management staff.
∎ Carry out intense field observation on a regular basis to determine the real portrait of the programme quality and also to give required feedback directly to relevant team, staff throughout the organisation to ensure that the quality education system is functioning properly.
∎ Identify programme's training needs by consulting with stakeholders (adolescents and youth, parents etc.)
∎ Design and develop detailed programme curriculums, including topics and number of hours required per training.
∎ Arrange training sessions online or offline with Training and Development team.
∎ Determine evaluation criteria for each curriculum and provide manuals and guidelines on how to use online training material.
∎ Follow up with trainees and training institutions after each training session to collect feedback.
∎ Manage, create and maintain documentation for compliance and accreditation purposes for all projects delivered by BYP.
∎ Design curricula to include outcomes and assessments.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Advanced knowledge on 21st century skills and knowledge, national curriculum and terminal competencies, SDG-4 and programme management; especially in education management.
∎ Knowledge of various approaches to education and training including adult learning, blended learning, and non-traditional education.
∎ Knowledge on formulating/ preparing concept papers, reports, presentations on education/social development related documents.
∎ Excellent communication skills, both written and oral in English and Bangla.
∎ Sound spreadsheet analysis and capacity development skills.
∎ Ability to think strategically and carry out assigned tasks independently.
∎ Demonstrated ability to work in a team and to develop networks and collaborations accordingly.
∎ Minimum 04 years' of work experience, preferably in education management which includes educational project development, quality curriculum/ materials development, capacity development and other technical areas of education. Previous experience in training and working with youth and adolescents/ youth livelihoods and/ or leadership programmes will get preference.
