Job Context:
∎ Position: Officer/ Senior Officer/ Executive Officer

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyzing the prospective client for loans and assist them with loan application procedures. Process credit proposals through scrutinizing all required documents/ information along with analyzing of financial statements, security, personal behavior & credit worthiness of clients and persons behind business;
∎ Drafting loan documentation, credit documents, security documents, security registration to ensure compliance with internal regulations, applicable laws, and to submit for approval and signing credit agreement disbursement and security documents.
∎ Assessing risk inherent in the credit proposal through visit (if required) and scrutinize documents and determine the pricing based on risk associated with the proposals
∎ Finalizing credit proposals and place credit memo to Branch Business Division/ Credit Risk Management Division;
∎ Maintain effective relationship with RMs in the branch level to ensure smooth lending operation to business growth
∎ To structure the credit proposals and terms and conditions considering customers business conditions and Bank's interest
∎ To enforce compliance with the credit risk parameters and credit exposure on concentration limits set by the Bank and regulatory authorities
∎ Providing support, credit information and loan policies and procedures to ensure the quality of the Bank's lending portfolio
∎ Presentation of Office Notes/ Memos to Credit Committee/ Executive Committee /Board for necessary approval with NIL lapses/discrepancy
∎ Subsequent follow-up of loans for timely return of the same
∎ Maintain credit MIS and ensure internal & regulatory reporting.

Additional Requirements:
∎ MBA/MBM/Post-Graduation preferably in business background from any reputed university with no Third Division/Class
∎ Minimum 4 years experience in reputed banks/ FIs with 2 years' experience as a Credit Officer
∎ Candidates started career as Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee Officer and having adequate training including foundation training course in any commercial bank are preferred
∎ Strong knowledge on credit, relevant circulars & financial policies by the Central Bank
∎ Must have knowledge on Credit Appraisal, Financial Statement Analysis, ICRRS, Project Financing Evaluation etc.
∎ Strong analytical skills with excellent communication & interpersonal relationship skills is required
∎ Professional Certificate/ Training on credit will get added advantage
∎ Good skills to operate Microsoft Office Applications/ banking software
