Job Context:
∎ Location: Head Office
∎ Provide strategic communications support to programmes and enterprises within designated portfolio, as well as for key organisational initiatives and partner liaison.

Job Responsibilities:

∎ You will be a part of the programme and enterprise communications team, a team of dedicated communications staff working with BRAC’s social programmes, social enterprises, social investments and BRAC University. A typical day could include anything from building the brand of a new social enterprise to figuring out how to change behaviour to mitigate climate risks.
∎ You will ensure our entities are taking a strategic approach to communications, ensure global visibility, drive creative storytelling, support high-profile events, manage major communications initiatives and spend in-depth time on the ground with our staff and the people we work with.
∎ This role will offer you on-the-job training and the opportunity to stretch past your limits, acquire new skills and broaden your depth of knowledge in the development sector. You will have the opportunity to work with globally renowned humanitarian and development experts.
∎ Ultimately, your contributions will get the world to pay attention to southern-led approaches to unmaking inequality.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3 years of working experience in similar roles
∎ Fluency in spoken and written English and spoken Bangla
