1. Bonded Warehouse Operations:

Manage all activities related to bonded warehouse operations, including raw material import, bonded stock maintenance, and utilization.

Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Customs Bond Commissionerate rules and regulations.

Monitor bond license renewal, bond register maintenance, and submit necessary returns to the customs authorities in time.

2. Export & Import Documentation:

Supervise the entire process of import (raw materials/accessories) and export (finished goods) documentation.

Prepare and process L/C, TT, PI, Bill of Entry, Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and other related documents.

Ensure accuracy and timely submission of shipping and banking documents.

3. Customs & Regulatory Affairs:

Liaise with customs, port authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth customs clearance and proper HS code classification.

Follow up on duty-free benefits, UD/UP, EPB documents, and other government incentives.

Handle customs audits, bond audits, and resolve queries efficiently.

4. Banking & LC Management:

Open, amend, and negotiate Letters of Credit (LC) and manage all bank-related export/import formalities.

Ensure timely realization of export proceeds and handle bank documentation related to remittances and back-to-back LC.

5. Shipping, Freight & Logistics:

Coordinate with C&F agents, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and transporters to ensure timely shipment and delivery.

Track shipment schedules and resolve any shipping-related issues proactively.

6. Inventory & Cost Control:

Monitor inventory movements of bonded goods and reconcile with production and shipment schedules.

Work closely with store, production, and merchandising teams to optimize bonded goods usage and minimize wastage.

7. Team Management & Reporting:

Lead and supervise the commercial team to ensure effective performance and goal achievement.

Prepare and present periodic reports on commercial operations, shipment status, bond consumption, and cost summaries to management.

8. Coordination & Communication:

Maintain strong communication with buyers, suppliers, EPB, BGMEA, and other stakeholders.

Ensure all commercial functions are aligned with company policy, buyer compliance requirements, and local regulations.
