Education:
    • Masters
  • Postgraduate degree preferably in Business Administration, Economics or related discipline from a reputed university with no third class/division or equivalent CGPA in the academic record.

Additional Requirements:
  • Age At most 50 years
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in banking operations or related leadership roles, with at least 5 years in senior management.

  • Proven track record in process optimization, operational risk management, and technology-led operational transformation, banking operations, regulatory compliance, and risk frameworks.

  • In-depth understanding of Bangladesh Bank operational regulations, foreign exchange operations (AD Branches), and core banking systems.

  • Age not exceeding 50 years as of January 31, 2026 (may be relaxed for exceptionally qualified candidates).



Responsibilities & Context:

The Premier Bank PLC. invites applications from dynamic, experienced, and visionary professional for the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the Bank’s operational strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and growth plans.

  • Drive process optimization, operational efficiency, and cost management initiatives across all departments.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management frameworks.

  • Supervise branch operations, cash management, clearing, payments, and trade services.

  • Ensure compliance with operational circulars, KYC/AML/CFT regulations, and internal audit requirements.

  • Lead business process reengineering, digital banking operations, and IT system integration.

  • Enhance customer experience through process automation and TAT reduction.

  • Coordinate with IT, Risk, Compliance, and Business Units for smooth operational delivery.

  • Ensure implementation of internal control and compliance functions per BB directives.
