Experience:
Must possess a CA/ CMA/ CFA or an equivalent professional degree, or MBA/ MBM or Master Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or Banking from a recognized university.
Minimum 12 years of experience in bank/ financial institution, out of which at least 03 years of experience in accounting and tax related activities.
Age not exceeding 55 years as of January 31, 2026 (may be relaxed for exceptionally qualified candidates).
In-depth knowledge of Bangladesh Bank regulations, IFRS, and financial reporting standards applicable in Bangladesh.
Strong leadership, communication, analytical, decision-making skills and proven record of managing large-scale financial operations in the banking industry.

Job Responsibilities:
Formulate, implement, and monitor financial strategies, annual budgets, and forecasts aligned with the Bank’s corporate objectives.
Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and internal control functions.
Identify, evaluate, and mitigate financial and operational risks to ensure financial stability and solvency of the Bank.
Prepare and present accurate financial performance reports to the Management, Board, and other key stakeholders.
Manage capital adequacy, liquidity, and investment portfolios in line with Basel III and BB guidelines.
Manage the Bank’s fixed assets, including asset tagging, valuation, amortization, and depreciation.
Optimize the Bank’s capital structure and ensure effective utilization of resources.
Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of integrity, excellence, and continuous learning.
Stay updated with regulatory, tax, and industry developments; provide advisory support to management and cross-functional teams.
Lead relationships with Bangladesh Bank, external auditors, and rating agencies.
