Experience:

• At least 10 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hotel, Resort

• Masters in Engineering (MEngg) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Civil Engineering

Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in Engineering & Maintenance, preferably in a 5-star hotel/resort, hospitality, large commercial facility or similar organization.

Candidates with experience in a senior engineering management position will be preferred.

Strong experience in MEP, HVAC, electrical systems, generators, utilities, fire safety and facility maintenance is highly desirable.

Strong leadership and team-management skills.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.

Good knowledge of preventive maintenance and facility management.

Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental requirements.

Ability to manage engineering budgets and control operating costs.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies.Strong computer literacy and reporting skills.

• Lead and supervise the Engineering & Maintenance Department of the resort.

• Ensure uninterrupted operation and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, water supply, fire safety, power generation and other engineering systems.

• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.

• Monitor and maintain generators, transformers, electrical panels, lifts, boilers, chillers, pumps, HVAC systems and other MEP equipment.

• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental and engineering standards.

• Supervise engineering projects, renovations, repairs and installation works.

• Prepare annual maintenance plans, budgets and capital expenditure proposals.

• Control engineering-related costs, energy consumption and utility expenses.

• Lead and develop the engineering team through effective supervision, training and performance management.

• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth resort operations.

• Maintain proper records of equipment, maintenance schedules, breakdowns and engineering activities.

• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, consultants and government/regulatory authorities when required.

• Ensure emergency response procedures are in place for technical failures and other operational emergencies.

• Any other job which is assigned by the Management
