Responsibilities & Context:

Overall Leadership & Strategic Management

• Oversee and lead all engineering sections (Maintenance, Utility, and Civil) ensuring alignment with organizational goals and production requirements.

• Develop and implement engineering policies, standards, and annual budgets while monitoring expenditure for cost-effectiveness.

• Provide strategic advisory support to senior management on infrastructure development, technological advancement, and capacity expansion.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards across all engineering operations.

Maintenance Operations

• Oversee all maintenance operations ensuring optimal functionality of machinery, equipment, and facilities through comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance programs.

• Lead and mentor the maintenance team in diagnosing technical issues, executing timely repairs, and minimizing production downtime.

• Manage spare parts inventory, maintain accurate maintenance documentation, and monitor equipment performance metrics.

• Recommend and implement cost-effective technological upgrades to enhance machine efficiency and production capability.

Utility (Electrical) Management

• Ensure reliable and uninterrupted power supply across all facilities by overseeing electrical systems, power distribution networks, and backup power infrastructure.

• Monitor and optimize energy consumption, implement energy-saving initiatives, and coordinate with utility service providers for continuous supply.

• Develop preventive maintenance programs for all electrical equipment including transformers, generators, switchgear, and control panels.

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, conduct regular safety audits, and lead the team in troubleshooting electrical faults with minimal production impact.

Civil Engineering & Infrastructure

• Oversee maintenance, repair, and development of all civil infrastructure including buildings, drainage systems, water supply, fire protection, and structural safety.

• Plan and execute civil construction projects for factory expansion, renovation, and infrastructure optimization.

• Ensure structural integrity through regular inspections and compliance with building codes and fire safety regulations.

• Coordinate with external contractors for major construction projects and manage facility layout optimization for enhanced operational efficiency.

General Management & Compliance

• Prepare and present regular engineering performance reports to senior management and participate in strategic planning initiatives.

• Foster a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement while ensuring business continuity through robust engineering systems.

• Manage vendor relationships, lead root cause analysis for major failures, and support compliance with international buyer requirements and certification standards.
