∎ B. Sc. in Chemical Engineering/ M. Sc. or B. Sc. in Chemistry.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 4 to 6 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist Shift in charge/ Chemistry Engineer for daily routine Start Up/Shut Down and Controlling operation Condition according to instructions and procedures within WTP, WWTP, Hypochlorination, CPP, Chemical dosing and Water-Steam Sampling System Area.
∎ Check and control the field situation by doing inspection and field visit, to ensure system and process
∎ Report to Shift in charge/ Chemistry Engineer the condition operation of plant.
∎ Ensure chemical injection storage tank level are maintain, make up solution and top up as necessary.
∎ Assists Chemist Laboratory Team for Sampling to maintain good condition of water.
∎ Responsible of the shift handover regarding correctness and sufficiency of the shared information during the shift changeover.
∎ Responsible for overall safety and implementation of the PTW system according to instructions and procedures within his/hers designated process area.
∎ As authorized person for preparation of PTW and associated documents, on field implementation of isolation.
∎ Participate to implement the policy of quality, safety & health and environment within the company.
∎ Ensure that production targets for the shift are achieved safely, economically, and within the environmental limits of the Plant.
∎ Ensure proper waste disposal measures.
∎ Controlling and participating in all good housekeeping.
∎ Equipment's/System to be covered:
∎ Pretreatment System, Hypochlorite Plant, Sea water Desalination System, SWRO System, Backwash, UF System, DM water System, Water & Steam Sampling System, Condensate Polishing System, Chemical Dosing System, Boiler Make-up water System, Alkali metering & Acid Metering and Exchanger Regeneration System, Effluent treatment System, Sanitary sewage Treatment, FGD Absorber System
Additional Requirements:
∎ Preferable Having 4-6 years' experience in water treatment at Steam Turbine Power Plant not less than 210 MW.
∎ Having knowledge in chemical for Power Plant.
∎ Generic awareness of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environment Management system principles.
∎ Knowledge of identification, classification and disposal of waste.
∎ Willing to work on shift basis regardless to holidays or public holidays
