• Knowledge of garment washing chemicals and processes

• Experience in denim or garment washing factories

• Strong organizational and documentation skills

• Good communication and coordination ability

• Ability to work under pressure in a production environment

• Understanding of chemical safety and compliance standards

1. Maintain proper storage and handling of washing chemicals (enzymes, detergents, softeners, acids, etc.)

2. Ensure correct labeling, segregation, and safety compliance of all chemicals

3. Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment

4. Maintain accurate records of chemical consumption and stock movement

5. Issue chemicals to production as per requisition and standard usage

6. Conduct regular stock audits and physical verification

7. Maintain MSDS and ensure safety procedures are followed

8. Coordinate with washing, production, and procurement teams

9. Ensure proper FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practice

10. Handle chemical spills, leakage, or emergencies as per safety protocols
