Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CMA, or partly qualified candidates will be given preference.
Prior experience in a woven garments manufacturing/export-oriented company is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of garment costing, VAT, Tax, Customs, Bond, and export-import procedures.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities & Context:
Lead and manage all accounting, finance, taxation, treasury, and compliance activities of the organization.
Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Oversee manufacturing costing, inventory valuation, consumption analysis, and cost control initiatives.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, banking facilities, and trade finance operations.
Manage import-export financial transactions, L/C operations, back-to-back L/Cs, and export incentive claims.
Ensure compliance with VAT, Tax, Customs, Bond, and other statutory regulations.
Coordinate internal and external audits and implement recommendations for process improvement.
Strengthen internal control systems and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Liaise with banks, auditors, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders.
Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts & Finance team to achieve departmental goals.
