Samaj Kalyan O Unnayan Shangstha (SKUS) envisions a peaceful, prosperous, and poverty-free society that ensures everyone`s basic needs and rights. Since the 2017, SKUS has been working on Rohingya refugee influx in Cox`s Bazar district in the fields of Education, health, Child protection, GBV, MHPSS and SRHR among children, adolescents, women, and men with support from different international donors, including UN agencies. Recently SKUS has signed an agreement with Plan International Bangladesh to implement a project titled "Lifting Healthy, Empowered, and Protected Girls and Women in Cox`s Bazar (LEAP)` at Rohingya Camps in Ukhia Upazila and the Host community of Ukhia Upazila under Cox`s Bazar District. SKUS is looking for a suitable candidate for the immediate appointment of Case Management Worker for the project mentioned above, supported by Plan International Bangladesh.
Duration: Up to August 2024 (Contingent on Donor Extension and government approval).
Job responsibilities:

The Case Management Worker is based on the camp/host located at Ukhiya of Cox`s Bazar district. She/he will spend approximately 100% of his/her time in the field. She/he may have contact with dissatisfied or abusive individuals. Being capable of working on an individual basis with minimum supervision. A strong commitment to gender-sensitive, inclusive, and humanitarian works Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team Consultative, initiative and empowering working style and willingness to learn from others Willingness to travel as required flexibility to adapt to new roles, tasks, and situations strong observation, analytical, and listening skills good organizational skills to work autonomously and plan meetings as per the project design Empathy combined with a genuine desire to improve the quality of the lives of service users is essential, as is the ability to think on your feet and make difficult decisions under pressure. An interest or participation in some aspects of the local community is useful. General administrative skills are also needed.
