Job Context:

Nari Maitree (NM), a well-established women-led national NGO with over 42 years of experience promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment in Bangladesh, is implementing the project “Together We Lead: Placing Gender Equality at the Centre” in partnership with UN Women.

The project aims to promote transformative gender norms and strengthen leadership, agency, and resilience among forcibly displaced Myanmar nationals (Rohingya) and host communities in Cox’s Bazar.

The Case Management & GBVIMS Supervisor will play a critical leadership role in overseeing GBV case management services and ensuring the safe, ethical, and effective use of the Gender-Based Violence Information Management System (GBVIMS). The position will supervise Officer - GBV Case Management & PSS, ensure quality service delivery to GBV survivors, and maintain compliance with global GBV case management guidelines and GBVIMS protocols.

The Supervisor will ensure survivor-centered approaches are consistently applied, strengthen referral pathways, and support coordination with relevant actors. Additionally, the role will focus on data quality assurance, analysis, and reporting through GBVIMS, contributing to evidence-based programming and advocacy while maintaining strict confidentiality and data protection standards.

Duty Station: Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar

Contract Duration: Up to 31st December 2026

Key Responsibilities

Case Management Supervision:

• Supervise and mentor Officer - GBV Case Management & PSS to ensure quality, survivor-centered case management services.

• Review and approve case action plans, ensuring adherence to GBV Case Management Guidelines.

• Provide technical guidance on complex and high-risk cases.

• Ensure confidentiality, informed consent, and ethical standards are strictly maintained.

GBVIMS Management:

• Oversee accurate and timely entry of case data into the GBVIMS.

• Ensure compliance with GBVIMS data protection and information-sharing protocols.

• Conduct regular data quality checks and validation.

• Generate monthly and quarterly GBVIMS reports and analysis to inform programming.

Psychosocial Support Oversight:

• Ensure provision of quality psychosocial support services by the team.

• Support Officer - GBV Case Management & PSS in delivering appropriate PSS interventions.

• Monitor the effectiveness of PSS approaches and recommend improvements.

Capacity Building:

• Conduct regular training, coaching, and mentoring sessions for case management staff.

• Build team capacity on GBV core concepts, case management, GBVIMS, and safeguarding.

• Support orientation and capacity building of community volunteers.

Coordination & Referral:

• Strengthen referral pathways with health, legal, protection, psychosocial, and other service providers.

• Represent the organization in GBV sub-sector meetings and coordination platforms if assigned.

• Liaise with UN agencies, NGOs, and local stakeholders to ensure comprehensive service delivery.

Monitoring & Reporting:

• Develop and track case management indicators in line with the Program Monitoring Framework (PMF).

• Prepare regular narrative and analytical reports, including GBVIMS reports.

• Contribute to donor reporting, including UN Women and GBV Sub-Sector requirements.

Safeguarding & Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to PSEA, Child Safeguarding, and organizational policies.

• Promote a safe and respectful environment for survivors and staff.

• Report and respond to safeguarding concerns appropriately.
