Planning and Target Achievement:

  • Prepare monthly work plans and visit schedules aligned with project targets.

  • Ensure all planned activities are executed to achieve the set monthly objectives.

Staff Orientation and Capacity Building:

  • Organize and facilitate monthly orientation sessions for community-based staff.

  • Educate staff thoroughly on governance, rights, and context-specific community needs.

Community Engagement and Supervision:

  • Form and manage various community groups, providing direct supervision and guidance.

  • Monitor awareness-based activities, including group meetings, school classes, and PTS sessions.

  • Oversee all activities of community staff to ensure proper execution and quality delivery.

Material and Resource Management:

  • Ensure effective use of teaching and awareness materials in group sessions and school classes.

  • Provide appropriate support to both community staff and project beneficiaries.

  • Maintain project logistics and assets in good condition.

Field Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Conduct regular visits to group sessions, civil society meetings, and school classes according to the activity plan.

  • Monitor performance of both community staff and participants, providing feedback and reporting progress to the Project Officer/Manager.

  • Ensure proper documentation of meetings, sessions, and other project activities.

Infrastructure and Community Relations:

  • Supervise construction and other physical works in project areas.

  • Maintain strong relationships with community leaders, civil society members, and local stakeholders.

Theatre & Creative Advocacy:

  • Organize "Char Theatre" rehearsals and shows, ensuring props and logistics are managed at the field level.

  • Use creative tools (drama, songs, and scripts) to communicate key messages on child marriage and child labor prevention to the char community.

Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Maintain close contact with local duty-bearers, such as Union Parishad members, religious leaders, and teachers, to foster a child-friendly environment.

  • Assist in organizing advocacy campaigns and national/international day observations at the char level.

Safeguarding & Compliance:

  • Ensure all field-level interactions strictly adhere to Friendship and KNH Child Safeguarding policies.

  • Promptly report any protection risks or project challenges to the Project Officer/Project Manager.

  • Ensure transparent use of project resources (e.g., seeds, saplings, or training materials) during field distribution.

Skill and Competencies:

Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s or a degree in a related field (Social Sciences preferred).

Experience: 1 to 2 years of work experience in community-based development projects.

Soft Skills: Proactive, organized, quick learner, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Language: Proficiency in Bangla and English.

Additional: Must be multi-dimensional, hard-working, innovative, and motivated to take on challenges. Competent in teamwork, adaptability, and working with marginalized communities.

Willingness to travel: Must be willing to travel extensively to remote char locations to ensure field-level project quality

Computer Literacy: Knowledge of basic MS Word and MS Excel.
