Responsibilities & Context:

BRAC is an international development organisation founded in Bangladesh in 1972 that partners globally with over 100 million people living with inequality and poverty to create opportunities to realise their potential.

Under the supervision of the Manager, Recruitment, this position will support and conduct day-to-day Recruitment and Selection of HCMP Sectors and Units. The responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining the recruitment and selection process, documentation, and implementing best practices.

  • Develop and ensure end to end execution and management strategy of overall recruitment policy and processes for emergency response context

  • Design the selection matrix for choosing the optimum recruitment channel and recruitment source

  • Ensure fair recruitment by following the Diversity Inclusion and Equity model

  • Source potential talents from different channels and collect CVs from CV bank as per organizational requirements

  • Ensure vacant positions are advertised timely through required channels (bdjobs, LinkedIn, Website and social media) to ensure maximum reach

  • Ensure coordination with the hiring manager on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs

  • Develop and maintain selection tools e.g. aptitude test to filter out the best talents

  • Ensure proper payroll data submission of newly joined staff.

  • Analyze CTC with personnel budget and ensure reference/ background check of selected candidates

  • Ensure closing the recruitment file and staff personal file with proper documentation

  • Assist to prepare various HR analytics reports (Recruitment dashboard, Aging report, annual/quarterly joining reports, recruiter performance analysis, salary report etc.)

Safeguarding

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so
