KNOWLEDGE:

• Sound understanding and experience of primary healthcare.

• Knowledge of Humanitarian Principles and SHPERE standards

• Knowledge of training design and execution

SKILLS:

• Good communication skills.

• Have excellent writing, reporting and analytical skills.

• Have excellent knowledge and skill in Office applications.

• Self-motivation, goal/result-orientation and team work.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) are other pre-requisites

The Senior Midwife will be responsible to provide ANC, PNC, Normal Delivery, Inpatient care and immunization.

• Counseling of couples for family planning method adoption.

• Provide ANC and PNC care

• Conducts normal vaginal delivery.

• Refers the complicated cases

• Number of immunizations provided.

• In patient care service

Safeguarding

• Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment

• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action

• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so
