Samaj Kalyan O Unnayan Shangstha (SKUS) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization established in1995 and registered with the NGO Affairs Bureau of Bangladesh. SKUS works to improve the lives of marginalized and underprivileged communities through programs in education, livelihood, women’s empowerment, protection, health, and humanitarian response. With a strong presence in Cox’s Bazar and partnerships with government and international agencies, SKUS promotes gender equality, inclusion, and community resilience.

Position Overview

The Fashion Designer will be responsible for creating innovation and visually appealing clothing and products. The role involves researching trends, developing design concepts, selecting fabrics, and overseeing the production process to ensure high-quality final products that align with the project’s vision and market demand.

Key Responsibilities

•       Research current fashion trends, colors, fabrics and styles.

•   Develop creative design concepts, sketches and mood boards.

•   Create technical drawings and design specifications.

•   Select appropriate fabrics, trims and materials.

•    Collaborate with trainers, tailors and production teams.

•       Oversee sample development and fittings.

•      Make design adjustments based on feedback.

•      Ensure Product quality and consistency with project standards

• Prepare design preparations for management or clients.

• Maintain design records and documentation.

• Safeguarding, PSEA, and Code of Conduct Compliance
