Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Standard Group - MH is a leading Ready-Made Garments (RMG) manufacturer in Bangladesh, generating an annual revenue of $300 million and catering to international buyers across Europe and America. The company operates 7 woven manufacturing plants and 2 washing plants.
∎ The core responsibilities of this role are to ensure the quality, accuracy, and timely development of samples according to customer requirements. Manage garment fit and construction by managing pattern making, grading, adjustments, and incorporating customer feedback.
∎ Responsibilities:
∎ Review the system-generated report and discuss it with the team each morning.
∎ Assess the previous day's performance and establish daily targets.
∎ Ensure patterns are made according to accurate spec and quality as per customer requirements.
∎ Resolve pattern issues from previous day and reduce the internal rejection along with Head of Samples.
∎ Identify and find solutions to problems proactively related to aesthetic interpretation, pattern design, technical set-up, sample production, fit note feedback and adjustments.
∎ Responsible for accurate pattern grading and marker making.
∎ Monitor production and identify potential disruptions due to emerging technologies.
∎ Adjust the department's daily workload after consulting with the pattern team.
∎ Conduct regular visits to the sample room to monitor the progress of running samples and make corrections as needed. (problem solving & reduce the internal rejection)
∎ Coordinate with customers to resolve daily pattern-related issues.
∎ Maintain overall pattern First Time Through (FTT) above 95% (Internal & external)
∎ Create new systems and processes to enhance pattern efficiency.
∎ Review and verify the final booking of the consumption sheet before proceeding with the final submission.
∎ Present team performance report to the management on a weekly basis.
∎ Arrange the training Program for the C grade pattern masters and provide mentorship to all members of CAD Pattern department.
∎ Collaborate with pattern teams of all business accounts.
∎ Evaluate the Pattern team’s KPIs monthly to enhance efficiency and report the findings to management.
∎ Ensure thorough follow-up and oversight of daily activities.
