- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in managerial capacity (quality assurance or technical department for sweater manufacturing).
- Experience working with international brands (specially USA) and understanding their quality procedures.
- Strong knowledge of sweater quality control tools, garment construction, and inspection techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with both internal teams and brand representatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail (risk analysis/root cause analysis/corrective & Preventive action plan).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience as a Brand Technical Manager/Quality Manager or equivalent role.
Responsibilities & Context: Job Summary: The Brand Technical Manager will manage and oversee all quality activities to demonstrate USA brands orders in the sweater factory, ensuring full compliance with buyer standards and internal SOPs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and approve technical files, BOMs, and measurement charts.
- Ensure SOPs are implemented and followed across all departments.
- Oversee inline, pre-final inspections and track corrective/preventive actions.
- Maintain style files, approvals, and documentation per customer requirements.
- Monitor washing section activities to ensure compliance with buyer expectations.
- Share weekly production and quality action plans with team as required.
- Lead weekly quality evaluation meetings, focusing on performance, top defects, and continuous improvement.
- Prepare and submit monthly quality performance reports.
- Supervise and coordinate with GPQ to execute buyer quality protocols smoothly.
- Liaise with buyers’ technical team on style-related clarifications.
- Evaluate pilot runs and pre-production trials; provide final technical approvals.
- Conduct daily visits to all production sections to observe quality activities and maintain records of observations and actions taken.
- Lead all coordination and actions during visits by Brands quality management team.
