Strong knowledge of medical equipment and hospital utility systems.Ability to diagnose technical problems and implement effective solutions.Knowledge of preventive maintenance planning and documentation.Good communication, reporting, and organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergency maintenance situations.

Medical Equipment Management

• Inspect, monitor, and maintain all medical equipment, including laboratory analyzers, patient monitors, ECG machines, ventilators, ultrasound machines, infusion pumps, suction machines, defibrillators, and other diagnostic and therapeutic equipment.

• Ensure all medical equipment remains functional, safe, and ready for use.

• Coordinate calibration, servicing, and certification of medical equipment as required.

• Maintain records of calibration schedules, service history, warranty status, and equipment performance.

Maintenance & Engineering Management

• Supervise maintenance of generators, UPS systems, electrical panels, air conditioning systems, oxygen supply systems, compressors, autoclaves, water pumps, CCTV systems, access control systems, and other hospital infrastructure.

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities.

• Identify potential failures and maintenance needs before breakdowns occur.

• Recommend repair, replacement, or procurement of equipment and spare parts when necessary.

• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for repairs and maintenance services.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain an updated inventory of all hospital equipment and machinery.

• Track warranty periods, Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), service agreements, and equipment lifecycle records.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports.

• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion.

• Keep records of equipment downtime, repairs, and replacement history.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all equipment complies with hospital safety standards and regulatory requirements.

• Participate in fire safety, emergency preparedness, and risk management activities.

• Support accreditation and quality assurance programs related to equipment management.

• Train staff on proper equipment usage and basic troubleshooting procedures.
