Educational Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Support the project team in development of the overall program strategic direction that focuses on change in priority behavioral outcomes.
∎ Articulate behavioral drivers of complex nutrition situations and how to better understand them through operations research with critical program actors
∎ Oversee qualitative research to uncover insights critical to the adoption of new behaviors or social outlooks.
∎ Work on integrated and specific strategies to enable priority behaviors including policy shifts, pricing strategies, social dynamics, skills building and communication.
∎ Help teams and partners determine factors of influence on the behaviors and track their change over the life of the project.
∎ Collaborate with appropriate government offices on project activities.
∎ Facilitate activities that drive social and behavior change within the project and across all stakeholders.
∎ Contribute to the development of work plans, budgets and required reporting ensuring consistency with the Project’s strategic direction and priorities.
∎ Represent the project with USAID and major donors and organizations as requested by the DCOP.
∎ Perform other duties as assigned by management.
∎ Document all processes and outputs and lessons learnt on SBC interventions.
∎ Perform SBC field duties as needed.
Additional Requirements:
∎ QUALIFICATIONS:
∎ Minimum Master’s degree in public health, social science, marketing or fields related to development.
∎ At least 10 years of experience in implementing or managing programs.
∎ Demonstrated experience in development of program strategies, workplans reflective of the strategy and adaptive management of the strategy over time.
∎ Exceptional teamwork and leadership abilities.
∎ Experience developing and managing social and behavior change program efforts.
∎ Ability to manage competing priorities for self and others.
∎ Skilled in collaborative approaches to strengthening the quality of programming and implementation across the project.
∎ Confident taking initiative within defined scope and driving work independently.
∎ Strong facilitation and communication skills.
∎ Knowledge of and experience with Behavior Integration preferred.
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
∎ Dependent on local FSN scale and project salary scale.

∎ Salary Review: Yearly
∎ Housing, transportation, meal and miscellaneous allowances are available, in addition to base salary.
