The Position:

We are looking for an experienced person to support North End’s Bakery department in the role of Bakery Manager : Quality Control Specialist to oversee the production process to ensure baked goods meet consistent quality and safety standards. To inspect raw materials and finished products, enforce food safety regulations, train staff on quality protocols, manage supplier quality, and address customer feedback. The main goal is to maintain high product standards while supporting efficient and compliant bakery operations.

Reports to: Bakery Director

  • Monitor Product Quality – Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and appearance of all baked goods.
  • Implement Quality Standards – Develop and maintain quality control procedures aligned with food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP).
  • Inspect Ingredients & Products – Check raw materials and finished products for compliance with quality standards.
  • Supervise Production Processes – Oversee baking operations to maintain quality during production.
  • Train Staff – Educate bakery team on hygiene, safety practices, and quality assurance procedures.
  • Manage Non-Conformities – Identify and resolve quality issues and customer complaints.
  • Maintain Records – Keep documentation of quality checks, audits, and corrective actions.
