Job Context:
∎ NORTH END is looking to hire a full-time Bakery Assistant to support the functions and production goals of our Bakery.

Our bakery uses premium ingredients to supply a variety of fresh, daily-baked international pastries to our cafés. Our roastery and bakery both supply goods daily to our 10 cafés across Bangladesh. Job Responsibilities:
∎ Dishwashing, cleanliness, being responsible for our production space.
∎ Washing, cleaning and preparing produce for the bakery production processes.
∎ Assisting in basic preparation, cooking and baking tasks.
∎ Packing, boxing and storing finished goods for delivery.
∎ Receiving deliveries and moving raw materials from inventory to the production floor.
∎ Updating various production and tracking reports.
∎ Assisting in weekly and monthly stock takes.
Additional Requirements:
∎ This is an entry-level role, therefore no prior experience is required.
∎ Strong communication skills (English and Bangla), both written and verbal.
∎ Able to use smartphone and messaging applications to communicate with the bakery team daily.
∎ Physically able to carry heavy items, work on feet for long hours and work in a cool, temperature-controlled environment.
∎ Should be able to work under strict and competing deadlines.
∎ Men must be clean shaven or keep a very tight beard & wear a beard net.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 18250 - 32250 (Monthly)
∎ This post falls within North End`s salary grade B (BDT 18,250 - BDT 32,250) commensurate with experience and skills.
