Responsibilities & Context:
Ø Ensure effective implementation and monitoring of all compliance requirements in accordance with buyer Codes of Conduct (COC), local labor law, and international standards.
Ø Monitor factory Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Environmental, and Occupational Safety practices to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.
Ø Identify non-compliance issues through regular inspections and audits, and take corrective initiatives to ensure continuous improvement.
Ø Conduct training programs on Fire Safety, Health & Safety, Workers’ Rights & Benefits, Chemical Safety (MSDS), Security Awareness, and related compliance topics.
Ø Prepare, maintain, and update all compliance-related documents, records, registers, policies, and procedures as per buyer and legal requirements.
Ø Maintain and follow up all statutory licenses, certificates, permits, and legal documents to ensure timely renewal and validity.
Ø Prepare Corrective Action Plans (CAP) against audit findings and ensure proper implementation within the required timeline.
Ø Coordinate and communicate effectively with buyers, auditors, certification bodies, and other stakeholders through emails, meetings, and factory visits.
Ø Conduct internal audits for Social, Technical, Environmental, Security, and Occupational Health & Safety compliance and support supplier/subcontractor factory assessments.
Ø Independently face and manage various compliance audits including BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, ISO 45001:2018, Higg FEM/FSLM, C-TPAT, RSC/Accord, GOTS, GRS, OCS, RCS, Technical, and other buyer-specific audits.
