Additional Requirements:
  • Age 30 to 40 years
  • Strong knowledge of knit garment construction and sewing techniques.

  • Expertise in pattern making, grading, and marker planning.

  • Knowledge of fabric properties, shrinkage, and stretch behavior.

  • Proficiency in CAD pattern-making software (Garber).

  • Good understanding of garment fit and measurement standards.

  • Problem-solving, communication, and team coordination skills.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • To develop garment patterns based on buyer specifications, tech packs, and design sketches.

  • To prepare manual or CAD patterns for knit garments such as T-shirts, polo shirts, leggings, hoodies, and sportswear.

  • Grade patterns into different sizes according to size specifications.

  • To calculate fabric consumption and provide marker plans to optimize fabric usage.

  • Create sample patterns for development, fit, and production samples.

  • Conduct pattern corrections after fit sessions and buyer comments.

  • To ensure patterns meet quality standards, measurement tolerances, and production requirements.

  • Coordinate with the merchandising, sample, cutting, production, and quality teams.

  • Troubleshoot pattern-related issues during sampling and bulk production.

  • Maintain pattern records, specifications, and revision history.

  • Ensure patterns are compatible with cutting and sewing processes.

  • Guide and supervise pattern technicians and sample operators.

  • Work with CAD software (such as Gerber) where applicable.

  • Monitor production efficiency by minimizing pattern-related defects and fabric wastage.

  • Ensure compliance with buyer requirements and factory quality standards.

  • Support new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
