• M.Com/ MBA/MSS/Engineering etc in any reputed University with excellent academic record.

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management will be preferred.

• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Commercial, Purchase/Procurement, Supply Chain, Store/Inventory, Export/Import through L/C, Freight Forwarding/C&F.

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): FMCG ( Food & Beverage Preferred)

• Should have strong experience in: Purchasing knowledge, Inventory Management, Negotiation skills, Conflict Management and Communication skills.

• We are looking for Asstt. General Manager - Supply Chain Management (SCM) For Rani Food Industries Ltd (GoldMark) a leading Group of Companies in Bangladesh.

Job Description / Responsibility

• Overall responsible for Local and imported RM and Capital machineries for the company.

• Monitoring the Raw Material stock position for executing optimum stock level as per plan.

• Act as senior point of contact for procurement activities, including owning, maintaining and updating the Procurement Schedules and Status Report.

• Develop, own and maintain a supply chain network, Ensure suppliers are accredited on to the Supplier database and are aligned with the companies Ethics Code of Conduct.

• Development and successful running of the Procurement Project Team, including personnel, planning, approvals, policies, procedures, compliance and reporting.

• Coordination with Brand department for NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT PROCESS.

• Negotiating the offers in relevant cases to ensure the price, delivery & after sales service.

• Inspection of product when necessary & Processing the bills

• Widen the Framework Agreement to make faster the procurement process.

• Coordinating the meetings with internal & external stakeholders (in applicable cases)

• Follow up the import indent as per requirement of respective department on the basis of Lead time.

• Checking and forwarding indent through accordingly after justifying the stock level.

• Discussing with factory management about technical & miscellaneous issues.

• Developing strategies for long term and short term basis related to quality, cost effectiveness & inventory management etc. of the raw materials.

• Coordinating with Finance, Accounts and Commercial departments for L/C, Supplier Payments to ensure raw materials delivery and shipment on time.

• Assist management in formulating, reviewing or updating supply chain policies and practices in accordance with new or changing policies, standards, regulations or laws and ensure adherence to those across all departments.

• Searching new suppliers, contact & negotiate with suppliers, survey market, collect quotations and prepare comparative statement.

• Design and implement supply chain management system that supports business strategies adapted to change market conditions, new business opportunities, and cost reduction strategies.

• Monitoring the RM and PM consumption trend.

• Overseeing and monitoring the Raw Material & Packing Material stock position for executing optimum stock level as per plan.

• Internal Discussion Meeting with SCM team about local spares issues and solve.

• Preparing the Yearly, Monthly and Weekly RM, PM procurement Plan.

• Liaison with Factory team to maintain optimum stock level.

• Import through L/C, Store/Inventory, Freight Forwarding/C&F, Documentation

• Responsible for all procurement from local & foreign sources in accordance with company policies & requirements.

• Follow up with potential suppliers (nominated/non-nominated where applicable) for price & quality.

• Follow up prices, specifications & delivery dates to determine the best bid price among potential supplies.

• Look after the entire supply chain process such as procurement (local & foreign), inventory control, distribution, and logistics functions of the entire group.

• Design, plan, execute, control and monitor supply chain activities of the company.

• Manage timely and cost effective procurement from local & foreign sources in accordance with company policies and requirement.

• Negotiate and maintain prices and long-term purchase agreements.

• Manage the validity and quality of documents and obtain required validations in order to purchase.

• Assist in procurement of all materials including but not limited to production materials, machinery parts, stationary items, computer and networking hardware, etc.

• Develop annual departmental cost savings targets and plan for the monthly, quarterly and annual procurement budget process with Top Management and relevant departmental heads.

• Prepare strategic plans and reports for Top Management when required.

• Discover the most profitable suppliers and initiate business partnerships with them.

• Perform risk management regarding supply contracts and agreements.

• Any other responsibilities as and when assigned by the management will be treated as a duty.
