The Assistant Manager / Senior Executive – Electrical Maintenance is responsible for ensuring the reliable, safe, and efficient operation of all electrical systems and equipment within the factory. This role supports uninterrupted production across elastic manufacturing, offset printing, yarn dyeing, circular knitting, heat seal printing, oven label, and printed label units, while ensuring compliance with safety standards, energy efficiency requirements, and sustainability goals aligned with USGBC Green Building and Nirapon Certification.
Plan, execute, and supervise preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of all electrical systems, including HT/LT panels, transformers, generators, UPS, sub-stations, motors, VFDs, PLC-controlled machines, ovens, and production machinery.
Ensure uninterrupted power supply and optimal electrical performance across all production units.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults in a timely manner to minimize downtime and production loss.
Provide technical electrical support to production departments such as Elastic, Offset Printing, Yarn Dyeing, Circular Knitting, Heat Seal Printing, and Label Printing units.
Coordinate with production teams during machine installation, commissioning, modification, and relocation.
Ensure full compliance with electrical safety standards, factory safety rules, and local statutory regulations.
Support and maintain compliance with Nirapon Electrical Safety Standards, including risk assessments, corrective actions, and audit readiness.
Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of USGBC Green Building Certification requirements, including energy-efficient systems, documentation, and monitoring.
Monitor and analyze energy consumption; propose and implement energy-saving initiatives.
Maintain records related to energy usage, electrical efficiency, and sustainability performance.
Support the use and maintenance of energy-efficient lighting, motors, and automation systems.
Maintain updated electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, SOPs, maintenance logs, and compliance records.
Prepare regular reports on maintenance activities, downtime analysis, and energy performance.
Supervise and guide electricians and technicians to ensure quality maintenance work.
Coordinate with external contractors, service providers, and inspectors as required.
Train maintenance staff on electrical safety, standard procedures, and best practices.
