Requirements:

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Procurement of raw materials based on priority & demand within lead time.
∎ Advise suppliers and internal customers to identify and implement innovative designs, value-add specification changes, concepts, and materials.
∎ Negotiate to get the lowest price of yarn, accessories while ensuring best quality.
∎ Understand customer requirement clearly and source for local or global supplier.
∎ Must have planning & forecasting knowledge for in housing materials.
∎ Coordinate with production planning and merchandising team for uninterrupted production & shipment.
∎ Assist the team with executing new product development and implement quality specifications.
∎ Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency.
∎ Estimate risks and apply risk minimizing techniques.
