Responsibilities & Context:
∎ As the Planning Manager for our Yarn Dyeing division, you will oversee the planning and scheduling aspects of yarn dyeing operations & play a pivotal role in orchestrating the planning and scheduling to ensure efficient production, timely delivery, and adherence to quality standards. You will collaborate closely with various departments to streamline processes, optimize resource utilization, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
∎ After receiving the order sheet make a delivery plan & circulate it to every section.
∎ Develop and maintain production schedules and plans for yarn dyeing & Continuous dyeing operations, considering factors such as customer orders, production capacity, and inventory levels.
∎ Coordinate with sales, production, and procurement teams to ensure alignment of production plans with customer demand and raw material availability.
∎ Make an effective machine wise production plan consult with Dyeing head.Optimize resource allocation, including yarn, dyes, chemicals, equipment, and manpower, to maximize production efficiency and minimize costs.
∎ Monitor production progress and address any deviations from the schedule, implementing corrective actions as necessary to meet delivery deadlines.
∎ Ensure the maximum planning efficiency.
∎ Collaborate with quality assurance personnel to ensure that yarn dyeing processes meet quality standards and specifications, implementing quality control measures as needed.
∎ Co-ordination between different departments, like narrow fabrics, store, batch, laboratory, dyeing, finishing, quality control, maintenance etc. in order to run operation smoothly.
∎ Serve as a liaison between different departments to facilitate effective communication and coordination of activities related to yarn dyeing operations.
∎ Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in yarn dyeing operations, implementing new technologies, refining production processes, and streamlining workflow procedures.
∎ Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices in yarn dyeing operations.
∎ Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, key metrics, and operational KPIs to management.
∎ Perform any other task assigned by the superior Management.
∎ We are looking for a highly creative, detail oriented & result focused professional Asst. Manager/ Deputy Manager - Planning, Yarn Dyeing with good experience in Production Planning, Resource Allocation, Inventory Management, Cost & Budgeting, Quality assurance of Production. We desire the candidate possess good knowledge of Yarn Dyeing & Continuous Dyeing like Nylon, Polyester, Sewing Thread, Cotton.
