Educational Requirements:
∎ Master’s degree in any discipline / MBA at Apparel Merchandising will be preferable.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Communication with buyer especially at Dutch market, factory people, other related departments/sections of the company.
∎ Costing of products, Follow the process, procedures of buyers & Order execution.
∎ Supervision of the product and negotiations with the buyers to reach the final acceptable prices.
∎ Overseeing the update on production status, sampling, lab dips information being provided by the merchandisers to the buyer.
∎ Monitoring the status of approval/ per-production/delivery.
∎ Advice factory / production / quality team on fabric, production, quality etc. related technical issues as efficient / experienced troubleshooter.
∎ Proper execution of orders according to planned 'Time and Action Plan' on regular basis to ensure on time shipment with right quality and quantity.
∎ Should be capable of new business development & promotion with fresh Buyer.
∎ Should have good connection with the buyers.
∎ Ability to work under pressure independently & must be target oriented.
∎ Frequent traveling experience and ability to work directly with retailer or importer.
∎ If required need to visit factory.
∎ Any other jobs assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are preferred to apply who live in Uttara or nearby.
∎ Should be able to work on own initiative under pressure with set target.
∎ Should have proven leadership and inter-personal skills with capacity to anticipate and provide solutions to the problems.
∎ Should be fluent in both spoken and written communications in English.
∎ The applicants must have experience in the following area(s): Knit, Sweater & Woven.
∎ Having experience especially in German / Dutch market.
∎ Should have experience to work with under any Liaison Office, Buying House or Discounter buyer.
∎ New buyer & Factory sourcing.
