Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supports and contributes to strategic technical leadership to project on the implementation of vocational and education training activities,
∎ Provide support in the design, development and implementation of innovative, effective, context appropriate VET programming,
∎ Guide to junior sector specialist in planning VET programme in the field,
∎ Build relationship with existing vocational education and training institutions, community-based workshop to improve the capacity for the delivery of quality vocational education,
∎ Assess the interest of the adolescent and youth on vocational skills training,
∎ Analyze skills gaps to improve skills training, and design and develop curricula, training materials, and instruction methodologies to advance adolescent and youth employability,
∎ Market analysis to find out the scope to engage the graduate adolescent and youth into the practices,
∎ Organize different types of training, orientation on financial inclusion, career guidance and counseling of adolescents and youth,
∎ Maintain strong collaboration with other organization working on vocational skills training,
∎ Represent the VET activities in the sector meeting, working group, government meeting including CiC etc.,
∎ Provide technical support to the development of trade base module, its translation & documentation,
∎ Development different tools and template on VET programme and lead the team during survey on the intervention,
∎ Regular field visit and monitoring the situation,
∎ Preparing different reports, budget and other documents and send those to respective authority in time.
∎ Keeping Liaison with different sector of HCMP, others departments of BRAC, national and International NGOs and GO specially CiC office.
∎ Keeping effective time management with administrative and financial activities
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
