Educational Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee and coordinate the operation of the Safe Space for Women and Girls (SSWG).
∎ Recruit, train volunteer and update database of all the volunteer in the respective zone of responsibility.
∎ Provide support to colleagues in relation to material, administrative and logistical needs to enable their work efficiently.
∎ Provide technical and managerial supervision to the volunteer including giving guidance, advice on their work, maintain attendance record and monitor and evaluate their performance.
∎ Reach out to other services in camp/host to ensure smooth referral pathways.
∎ Conducts community consultations to design programme and operation.
∎ Conduct Safety Audit to assess safety and security concerns for women and girls.
∎ Prepare weekly, bi-weekly report and monthly as well for partner and sector related use of HCMP-BRAC.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

∎ Extensive Knowledge of best practice for prevention and response to GBV in Emergencies.
∎ Extensive knowledge of case management principles and more specifically on the survivor-centered approach.
∎ Experience and knowledge in working with refugees and/or displacement settings.
∎ Familiarity with GBV data collection system and safe and ethical guidelines.
∎ Better understanding on the guiding principles of safety, confidentiality, and non-discrimination.

∎ Leadership skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Managerial skills to manage multi-disciplinary teams.
∎ Ability to work across complex socio-cultural, socio-political and religious contexts
∎ Must be computer literate, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
