Job Context:
∎ In order to successfully implement the child protection Case Management (CM) activities in the field of HCMP, the Senior Case Worker (child protection) is responsible for providing technical support to case worker, identifying capacity building needs, ensuring quality case management services to them in the Rohingya camps and as well as in the host community, monitor CPIMS+ platform, analysis the cases and guide the case worker to take action accordingly.
∎ This position is also responsible to maintain the database of case management services, maintain close coordination with case management technical working and the programme.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for overseeing of Camp and host level CP case management and ensure maintain of confidential filing system. You will provide guidance on case management to camp-based case workers and provide direct support to complicated cases. Supervise and support protection teams on appropriated referral.
∎ Identify capacity building need’s training for camp and host-based case workers and organize weekly case management meeting with all case workers
∎ Meet regularly with Child Protection Groups; follow up on identified cases of vulnerability (which may include separation from adult relatives, mental or physical disability), abuse, neglect, child marriage, trafficking, etc.
∎ Conduct family tracing to reunified children separated from their parents or other relatives, which may include liaising with local authorities and/or other child protection agencies operating.
∎ Report to Protection Technical Advisor any identified trends or common risks and recommend steps to address or mitigate them where possible.
∎ Identify any issues with the referral pathway and work with relevant CP staff and local authorities to address them.
∎ Work in close collaboration with the community mobilisers to strengthen our relationship with the community and to strengthen the referral system.
∎ Work with the child protection team to ensure close links between case management and our work with community-based child protection mechanism.
∎ Submit weekly case management reports and ensure that information is kept up to date.
∎ Coordinate with other agencies offering case management services to children on referral and transfer of cases.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programmer's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

∎ Knowledge on Case Management, supervision, tracing and data collection processes
∎ Knowledge on coordination, monitoring, data collection, analysis, report writing, presentation preparation, and safeguarding.
∎ Skills:
∎ Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders in a sensitive environment.
∎ Effective communication and presentation skills.
∎ Have computer skills with all Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, Power Point, and Excel).
