Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) in Disaster Management, Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) in Development Studies, Diploma in Engineering in Civil Engineering
∎ Bachelor’s or Diploma in Disaster Management/Development Studies/Civil Engineering or any other relevant subject from any reputed educational institutions.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assess emergency situations and working closely with local community.
∎ Prepare and share information of inter-sectorial emergency preparedness and response activities.
∎ Supervise and/or support data collection activities in the field while respecting ethical and methodological standards. If necessary, helps enter monitoring data provided by project teams using the appropriate tools.
∎ Maintenance register in the site, engage labor, prepare participant list through effective communication with the local community
∎ Support in overseeing the technical/other project participants
∎ Implement the project in accordance with the set working plan
∎ Develop cash distribution plan and organize cash disbursement to implement mitigation and awareness-raising activities.
∎ Prepare monthly emergency preparedness and response materials stock list with support from the Logistics team.
∎ Conduct small scale risk mitigation activities within the camp and host community as needed.
∎ Organize induction, support and awareness sessions for community people.
∎ Liaison with Other sectors, Imam, Majhis and other religious leaders in both FDMN and Host Community.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 2-3 years experience in Project Implementation/Community Engagement/Awareness Raising Campaign or any other relevant field in development sector of NGO/ INGO
