∎ Good at use of Gantt Chart or Matrix Table skills to manage time schedule effectively.

∎ Good at use of MS Office software or other related software.
∎ Immediate available is an advantage for prior consideration.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production plans for the elastic knitting department.
∎ To coordinate with the production team to allocate resources effectively and ensure production targets are met.
∎ To prepare detailed production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and machinery capacity.
∎ To monitor and adjust production schedules as necessary to address such issues or problems as delivery delays, machinery breakdowns, or material shortages.
∎ To track production progress and provide regular reports to senior management on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, machine utilization, and downtime.
∎ To implement and monitor corrective actions for deviations from the production plan.
∎ To monitor raw material usage and ensure timely availability of required inputs for production.
∎ To coordinate with the purchasing and procurement teams to maintain optimum stock levels of materials required for elastic knitting department.
∎ To work with the maintenance team to ensure proper upkeep and timely servicing of knitting machines and related equipment.
∎ To implement lean manufacturing principles, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement methodologies, wherever is applicable, to improve productivity and reduce waste.
∎ To track and analyze production data to assess performance and identify trends or potential issues or problems together with effective solutions.
∎ To ensure smooth communication between the knitting department and other production units or departments whenever necessary.
∎ Job Summary:
∎ The job-holder required to manage production plan & control which is responsible for coordinating and managing the production processes within the elastic knitting department. This role involves planning, scheduling, and controlling production activities in order to ensure that production targets are met on time, within budget, and at the required quality standards. The job-holder will work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, maintenance, and supply chain management, as well as ensuring smooth operations and continuous improvement in production efficiency.
