Additional Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Merchandising, or relevant field
For Assistant Merchandiser: 1–3 years of experience in sweater merchandising
For Merchandiser: 3–6 years of relevant experience in sweater/knitwear merchandising
Strong knowledge of sweater production (flat knit, circular knit, yarn types, etc.)
Good understanding of costing and negotiation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Responsibilities & Context:
Handle end-to-end merchandising activities for sweater products
Communicate with buyers regarding order development, approvals, and updates
Follow up on sampling, costing, and order confirmation
Coordinate with production, planning, and quality teams to ensure on-time delivery
Monitor order status, shipment schedules, and resolve any issues proactively
Prepare and maintain all merchandising documentation (T&A, order sheets, etc.)
Source yarns, trims, and accessories as per buyer requirements
Ensure compliance with buyer standards and company policies
