Responsibilities & Context:
- Maintain daily communication with NEXT buyers and buying office.
- Develop new woven products and prepare competitive costing.
- Execute orders from development to shipment ensuring OTIF delivery.
- Follow up on fabric, trims, sample, and approvals with buyer and suppliers.
- Coordinate with factories, washing units, and suppliers for smooth production.
- Ensure product quality, compliance, and testing as per NEXT standards.
- Monitor shipment schedule, documentation, and logistics support.
- Lead, guide, and train junior merchandisers and support staff.
- Negotiate lead times, capacities, and prices with factories and suppliers.
- Analyze woven fashion trends and propose new product ideas for NEXT.
