Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Quality Control:Oversee the daily operations of the QA laboratory, including testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.Ensure that all products meet or exceed customer specifications and industry standards.Implement and maintain quality control processes to monitor product consistency and compliance.Process Improvement:Identify areas for process improvements to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and optimize production efficiency.Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and process improvements.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate and detailed records of all QA activities, including test results, inspections, and audits.Prepare and present quality reports to management, highlighting trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
∎ Compliance and Auditing:Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM).Coordinate and support internal and external audits, including customer audits and regulatory inspections.Develop and implement corrective actions based on audit findings.Team Management: Supervise, train, and mentor QA staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.Schedule and oversee the work of QA technicians and analysts to ensure timely completion of tasks.Customer Interaction:Work closely with the customer service and sales teams to address customer complaints related to product quality.Collaborate with customers to understand their specific quality requirements and ensure those are met.Product Development
∎ Support:Collaborate with the R&D team during the formulation of new products to ensure they meet quality standards.Conduct stability and performance testing of new products.Health & Safety:Ensure all QA processes are conducted in accordance with safety guidelines and regulations.Promote a culture of safety within the QA team.
