Experience Requirement:

  • Minimum 8–9 years of proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in a fast-paced or manufacturing environment.

  • Applicants should have the experience of following sectors: Manufacturing Garments, Textile and Group of Companies

  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, cost analysis, and negotiation tactics.

  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, purchase orders, and inventory control.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple suppliers, ensure on-time delivery, and maintain quality.

  • Track record of driving cost savings, process improvements, and strategic sourcing initiatives.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with finance, production, and logistics teams.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Responsibility:

  • Vendor Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers; evaluate vendor performance on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.

  • Purchasing Operations:

  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including purchase requisitions, order placements, contract negotiations, and order tracking.

  • Cost Control:

  • Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate better pricing and payment terms.

  • Compliance & Documentation:

  • Ensure procurement activities adhere to company policies and compliance standards; maintain accurate procurement records and reports.

  • Inventory Coordination:

  • Work closely with inventory and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid overstocking or stock outs.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Liaise with departments like Finance, Production, and Logistics to align procurement plans with business needs.

  • Reporting & Analysis:

  • Prepare procurement reports, track KPIs (like cost savings, lead times, supplier performance), and present insights to senior management.

  • Risk Management:

  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks related to vendor reliability, geopolitical issues, or raw material availability.
