The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments
6 Month to 1 years of experience in fashion design (preferably in an export-oriented garment factory).
Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD, Emails).
Knowledge of fabric properties, garment construction, and pattern making.
Excellent ability in using modern designing applications and software
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Must have good speaking and writing skills in English.
Responsibilities & Context:
Research global fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and trims for upcoming seasons.
Create innovative designs, mood board, sketches, and tech packs, concept presentations, and sample collections for buyers.
Collaborate with merchandising and production teams to ensure design feasibility and ensure quality standards.
Maintain close relationship with the marketing and merchandising team to create ranges for all customers.
Research fashion trends and market demand
Work closely with buyers to align designs with their requirements.
Ensure designs meet quality, fit, and compliance standards.
Select appropriate fabrics, embroidery styles, color palettes, and embellishments.
Follow market trends and provide input for seasonal collections.
Conduct regular research on competitors and fashion trends (local & international).
Collaborating with technical designer to ensure development packages are accurate.
Design & develop knit fabrics for buyers
Negotiating with customers and suppliers
Any other responsibility assign by the management.
