Responsibilities & Context:

Maruhisa Atlantic Co., Ltd. is seeking a competent, self-driven, and experienced Assistant Manager – HR, Admin & Compliance to oversee human resources, administrative functions, and ensure full compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law, buyer Codes of Conduct, and organizational policies.

Job Location: Plot No. B-466, 511-513, BSCIC Industrial Area

Enayetnagar, Fatullah, Narayanganj-1420

  • Ensure full compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law, buyer Codes of Conduct (CoC), and company policies

  • Maintain and update all compliance-related documents, registers, and reports

  • Monitor and manage compliance certifications and audits such as BSCI, ICS, SEDEX, BETTER WORK, ACCORD/RSC, NIRAPON, etc.

  • Applicant should be capable of preparing, implementing, and effectively monitoring Corrective Action Plans (CAP) against audit findings to ensure timely and sustainable compliance.

  • Handle buyer audits (COC) including WRAP, BSCI, SEDEX, HIGG Index, SLCP Verification, and C-TPAT

  • Monitor daily worker health & safety issues including fire safety, accident investigation, and root cause analysis

  • Arrange and conduct training programs such as orientation, health & safety, fire safety, first aid, MSDS, security awareness, and anti-harassment

  • Update company policies, Code of Conduct, worker handbook, training policy, and workplace rules

  • Ensure and maintain leave, wages, overtime, benefits, and compensation as per law.

  • Maintain grievance handling and disciplinary procedures. Ensure safe, healthy, and better working conditions across all departments

  • Conduct regular factory walkthroughs to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective measures

  • Maintain positive industrial relations among workers, factory management, and top management

  • Coordinate with various types of government and non-government organizations.

  • Prepare and review payroll and salary sheets

  • Manage end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding and attendance, leave management, and personnel files. Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills
