Responsibilities & Context:
· Develop and administer HR plans and procedures that relate to company personnel.
· Plan, organize and control activities and actions of the HR department.
· Contribute to the development of HR department goals, objectives, and systems.
· Develop and oversee the recruitment process.
· Ensure candidate documentation is collected and recorded/filed.
· Oversee all staff engagement for the country office and manage the new hire orientation and exit process.
· Annually review the Personnel Handbook recommending amendments needed due to changes in local conditions or labor laws.
· Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and overall workplace culture.
· Implement, monitor, and continuously improve HR policies, SOPs, and code of conduct.
. Ensuring audit readiness across factory.
. Ensuring proper Housekeeping activities.
· Manage time system for office, ensuring timely submission, approval, accuracy, and filing.
· Monitor compensation and ensure internal equity & compliance and benefits are met.
· Develop resign procedure and final settlement policy as per labor laws.
· Coordinate with Accounts department in the preparation of monthly payroll.
· Ensure smooth running of all administrative functions in the factory.
· Supervise all travel and hotel arrangements for staff and visitors, including visas and work permits as applicable.
· Prepare employee training and development and make recommendations.
· Work with senior management to resolve employee relations issues pragmatically.
· Investigate employee relations issues and work to ensure human resources-related decisions are consistent and fair.
· Stay updated with labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance in HR practices.
